CHRISTEN TULP

Born and raised in Chicago, Christen’s love for hospitality began early — working in restaurants from the age of 16, she quickly realized she had a gift for creating experiences that people remember. After earning her degree in Television Production from Columbia College in Chicago, she followed her dream of moving to Los Angeles, where she worked in the talk show world; starting at The Ellen DeGeneres Show. There she specialized in partnership development and audience giveaways.

While working in television, Christen discovered her true passion for event planning. She began producing holiday celebrations and Emmy parties for ongoing TV shows, which ultimately led to the management of high-profile entertainment events.

Over the years, Christen has executed red carpet events and large-scale activations with powerhouse brands and talent including Ellen DeGeneres, Bethenny Frankel, Gwyneth Paltrow, Deion Sanders, tWitch, Mark Cuban and Sterling K. Brown.

Her corporate collaborations span Sony, Monster Energy, Disney Imagineering, Uber, and Southwest Airlines — among others.

Beyond Hollywood, Christen treasures planning weddings and social gatherings, where she’s continuously grateful to be trusted with life’s most meaningful milestones. In 2024, she brought her expertise to Nashville, TN and has continued planning weddings, social events, entertainment functions, corporate summits, conferences, incentive trips and everything in between.

After years of encouragement from clients, Christen launched Event House Agency, a brand built on her lifelong love of hosting and hospitality. Today, she leads a team that brings that same A-list level of service to every occasion.

What is the first step to getting started?

Everything begins with a quick call. We’ll learn about your event goals, guest count, and overall vision. From there, we’ll craft a customized proposal outlining logistics, creative concepts, and estimated budget so you know exactly what to expect before we begin.

What’s the typical budget range for your events?

Each event is unique depending on size, scope and style and we tailor every detail to fit your goals and vision. Whether you need full planning, month-of guidance or solely day-of execution, we’ll guide you through what’s realistic for your dream event and make sure every dollar is spent intentionally.

Do you only work with specific vendors or can I bring my own?

We have a curated list of top-tier vendors we love partnering with — from florists and caterers to entertainment and venues. However, we’re always open to working with your preferred partners if you already have relationships in place. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do.

How far in advance should I book Event House?

We recommend reaching out 6–12 months in advance for major events, especially during busy seasons. That said, our team thrives under pressure and we’ve pulled off stunning events on much shorter notice!

How involved do I need to be in the planning process?

That’s entirely up to you. Some clients love being hands-on with every design and detail, while others prefer us to manage the full process from concept to execution. We customize our approach to your comfort level so planning feels effortless either way.

Do you travel for events outside of Nashville or Los Angeles?

Yes! Event House regularly produces experiences across the U.S. - from Chicago and Las Vegas to coastal and destination locations worldwide. No matter where your event takes you, we bring our creativity, professionalism, and hospitality with us.
